Deli Zone
by VendSMARTT™ is a turnkey vending solution which
offers an additional means of capturing reimbursable
meals. The program was developed as a collaboration
between SL-Tech, its partners, and the Corpus
Christi Independent School District. Appealing,
branded food choices were thoughtfully developed
into NSMP menus and can be built into reimbursable
meals, generating new customers and revenue
opportunities for secondary schools. Vending
locations around campus may be used to extend hours
of operation, ensuring incremental revenue growth.
During our pilot phase, we are working with our
partners and the Corpus Christi Independent School
District to develop a comprehensive, turnkey vending
program, including:
• A vending machine that allows
students to build reimbursable meals
• SIF-compliant software that
effectively treats the vending machine
as a POS terminal
• Branded food items with carefully
drafted specifications to ensure quality
• Step-by-step training on food
preparation, storage, machine stocking
and maintenance
• Standards and training for production,
layout, and productivity
